Bona 118L Solar AC/DC Freezer is a Direct Current (DC) or solar freezer is a freezer which can be powered by DC or solar energy directly; solar powered freezers are mostly used in the areas where National Grid, which provides Alternating Current (AC) power, is not available either completely or partially.
The system can be complete or partially and the complete system includes solar panel, solar controller, battery and the freezer, while the partial system can include just the battery and the freezer. The partial system can work where National Grid is partially available, in this case, the battery can be charged using National Grid or other power source and in turn, the battery is used to power the freezer. BD-004 Solar Freezer (Bona DC 318L Solar Freezer) can stand alone with a temperature range from cooling to freezing.
